By plane: To reach Suru Valley, you have to book a cab till Ladakh first and then get on a taxi that will take you till Suru Valley that belongs to Ladakh. It is a 200 km journey to Suru Valley from Ladakh airport.

Via car: Suru valley can be reached by car though there are road blockages during winter because of heavy rainfall.

By Train: You can get on a train till the Jammu and Kashmir railway station and then book a taxi till the Suru valley that is located 540 km away from the station.

The availability of support staff hotels is lesser after mid-September because they leave by that time and it is difficult quite to get accommodation and food speciality if you are travelling in a big group during any other time of the year.
