At the end of the trip, we did some shopping at the local Tibetan markets for most authentic handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, woollen garments etc. We bought very beautiful souvenirs on our way back for our family and friends. 

Besides getting acquainted with the culture and traditions, we also grabbed our chances to savour the delicacies of Ladakh. We tried the local butter tea, and I assure you for tea lovers; it is one of the must things to taste when you are in Ladakh.
